The Studio has been Kansas City’s source for needlepoint supplies since 1967. Originally located in the basement of Brookside Toy and Science, the Studio moved to the loft of Brookside’s historic Dime Store in 1971 and stayed there for 5 years. In 1976, the Studio moved to its own location in the Brookside shops, where it remained until 2001, when it relocated to its current West Plaza Location.

The move to our new, bigger space allowed us to add a wide array of knitting materials to our already extensive needlepoint supplies. The new space has also allowed us to offer a exciting new classes and workshops.
