"Akari" is a soft, worsted weight multi-fiber blend that features organic silk and cotton. Translated to "light" or "glimmer" in English, the silk adds a beautiful sheen to this yarn. It is a delightful choice for knitting and crocheting multi-season garments.

Fiber Content26% Silk, 21% Cotton, 15% Viscose, 14% Mohair, 12% Wool, and 12% Polyamide.

YardageApproximately 528 yards in each 200 gram skein

Knitting Gauge: 4-5 stitches to an inch on US 7-9 needles (4.5-5.5mm).

Crochet Gauge: 2.75-3.5 SC to an inch on 7-I9 hook.

Weight: Worsted. Medium 4.

Care: Dry clean or hand-wash in cold water with gentle soap. Lay flat to dry.

At the Kick-off event you will meet with your project team in preparation for the first class and select the Mushing team you will cheer for and the CritterHouseKC pup that will be your mascot.

At the Celebration Event we will applaud your progress and success with prizes and recognitions.
